From time to time I really enjoy teaching workshops. A long time ago, when I lived in Chicago, I would teach workshops at Right Brain Studio in Oak Park, IL. There I mentored youth with a cartooning class, and a sewing class. Since moving to Vermont I have also collaborated with the Chester Community Art Garden, the Winhall Community Art Center, and The Gallery at the Vault in Springfield to offer one-time workshops.
I enjoy working with all ages. My teaching method is pretty hands off and I focus on fostering creativity, and helping students unlock their individual styles. If you, or a family member, could benefit from exploring your creative side I provide the materials, tools and encouragement to experiment with sloshing paint around. We can set up private, or semi-private group classes at my studio (maximum of four people). One time workshops, or reoccurring classes are possible.

Sign up for my newsletter if you want to hear about any upcoming, scheduled workshops at other art centers too.
Class topics may include:
- Portraiture
- Cartooning
- Abstract painting
- Hand-sewing
