Monastery in Crete
An original 8×10 gouache painting, ready to hang.
Awhile ago I traveled to Crete and visited this ancient monastery, built into the side of a mountain. Supposedly it was constructed in the 1300’s and was pillaged by pirates.
This piece was painted with acryla-gouache on a 3/4″ thick cradled panel. This panel is ready-to-hang with a wire installed. No need for a frame, unless you want to add one. Finally, the painting was finished with a UV-protectant varnish.
