I was visiting a local pet shop and was checking out their aquarium section. This guy caught my eye and I couldn’t resist taking some photos. The one big eyeball is quite unique making this goldfish a perfect portrait candidate.

This piece was painted with acryla-gouache on a 3/4″ thick cradled panel. This panel is ready-to-hang with the sides painted, and a wire installed. No need for a frame, unless you want to add one. Finally, the painting was finished with a UV-protectant varnish.
