Last time I was at the Harvard Museum of Natural History I took a bunch of reference photos of taxidermized animals, like this shrew. It’s fun to give these creatures a new life.

This piece was painted with acryla-gouache on a 3/4″ thick cradled panel. This panel is ready-to-hang with a wire installed. No need for a frame, unless you want to add one. Finally, the painting was finished with a UV-protectant varnish.
