2020 was quite the year and 2021 is gearing up to be similar, for better or worse. Lately I have been working on a lot of commissions and hope to take on more. I have been fully enjoying this type of work and have it down to a science where I aim to offer accessible art, while paying myself a fair wage. I managed to hold on to my storefront studio and will try to as long as I can. Having an away-from-home studio has been a lifesaver. It’s very helpful to have a place where I can get away to work with ultra focus.
I am not really sure what this year will bring. For now I am focusing on making work, and taking on commissions. My website also needs lots of work, so I will be updating it as much as I can. I do have an exciting collaboration in the preliminary planning stages with a local business too. If anyone is interested in a virtual studio visit contact me to set up an appointment.
